Since inception in 1964, A.M. Al-Khorafi Est (AMK) through its business activities in Kuwait and the Middle East, has been providing services catering to the needs of businesses and individuals alike. 

In July of 1964, IBM appointed AMK as the authorized dealer in Kuwait to market its products and equipments. What started with electric typewriters and calculators at that time has crystallized at present into xSeries IBM servers. 

AMK, at present, deals with more than a hundred of American, European, Japanese and other Far Eastern companies and has exclusive agency and distribution agreements with many of them for marketing and servicing their products. 

In the early 1970s, AMK started the first trafic and guidance signage factory in Kuwait in cooperation with 3M International. 

As the IBM Authorized Warranty Service center, the hardware operation of AMK fulfills the service market demand for personal computers, maintenance and software solutions. 

Due to extensive and diverse product and services, AMK soon recognized as one of the leading trading and engineering companies in the region meeting the growing demands of Kuwaiti market.
